Durability - Poly Furniture is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recycled plastic that will never need to be painted or stained.
It will not rot or splinter, and it contains an added UV protective agent to resist fading. Poly Furniture is not affected by most corrosive substances, and will not promote bacterial growth.

All recycled plastic lumber products have Ultra-Violet (UV) stabilizers compounded into them to help protect the color and integrity of the base resin for years to come. Because our poly products are wood free and contain no organic fibers you will not observe a rapid color shift or fade to grey due to exposed wood / organic fibers at the surface as is commonly experienced with some wood composite decking and other shapes. Persistent and aggressive UV exposure to sun and heat cycles does affect polymer based product's surface finish and color stability over long term life cycle as with most all materials.
Sustainability - HDPE plastics are derived on mainly milk jugs, detergent bottles and a few other bottles. When these plastics are recycled it prevents them from clogging up your local landfill, a study done by ESE World B.V. showed that HDPE plastics can be recycled over and over again at least 10 times without changing the structural and physical properties of the product!

Easy Maintenance - To maintain the beauty of your furniture, clean it regularly with regular soap and water. To remove light stains use a soft bristled brush and a 50/50 mix of bleach and water. Do not place extremely hot items directly onto furniture to avoid melting. All hardware is stainless steel and virtually maintenance-free under normal conditions. However, in coastal areas, hardware will need regular rinsing with fresh water to eliminate rust.
